Council Discussion:

Chuck Wallace: Parks look really good; 49 South has lots of debris along the street; Reminder to all to come out to the Truck Pulls on June 27th at Miller Park.

Sharon Blinzler: Curbs could use street sweeper, preferably before Homecoming.

Brian Bowsher: Motorized scooters, bikes, and golf carts are becoming a nuisance. Is there anything we can do to make the community more aware of the safety aspect of these items.

Leslie VanAusdale: What is the status of Main Street Edgerton’s occupancy of the new Community Building for 250th celebration? Mayor answered we are at the mercy of our inspection passing and we are moving toward that direction. Leslie suggested that the village provide cake and ice cream as refreshments for the 250th celebration event. Council asked if Mainstreet could come back with an amount, will table the approval until the next meeting.

Jason Gruver: Is OPWC funding for the John W lift station or the Main lift station? OPWC funding is for the Main lift station.

Chuck Wallace: What is the status of the storm sirens? The siren is an outdoor warning system designed to alert those who are outside to take immediate shelter. Sirens are used in combination with Alert86. The Alert86 emergency notification system through Williams County alerts residents by text, call or email. Go to Alert86.com to enroll or call the Village office for assistance.
