Police Chief Update by Ken Jacob:
- Received resignation from Jeneatte Rude, put hold on using training agreement
AMP Circuit Rider: We have participated in this program for the past 4 years. This program provides us with support, backup line workers and specialized testing, if needed. The enrollment fee is $1056 this year, up from $960 last year. Fee includes 8 hours of service and at least 4 hour block to charge. We have not needed to utilize this yet for backup line workers. However, we have used the Circuit Rider Program after the train issue in June 2023 for services like infrared testing and system checks. We would like to continue this program if the need should arise. Great program and provides sense of relief and security.
